Answers:
I keep it in the cupboard before it's opened. The it goes in the fridge after opening. Even restaurants pick up those ketchup bottles on the table at night and put them in a fridge or walk-in cooler. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Pantry before its opened. Fridge after its opened.

Although you see ketchup sitting out on the table in restaurants, you need to remember that those bottles are constantly being replenished so they really don't have a chance to "go bad."

If you prefer your ketchup room temperature, that's up to you, but personally I would refrigerate it.

I've always kept it in the frig, because it will sour otherwise.

I keep it in the fridge, and if we're going to have ketchup with the meal I'm making, I take it out of the fridge about 1/2 hour before we eat. Thus, it's not cold anymore.

The bottles say "refrigerate after opening". If you dont like it cold, just stock up on those little packets every time you go out to eat.

I lost this fight with my wife.. I always put it in the fridge.. thinking it needed to be..

I think most people like cold ketchup.. but it does not require refridgeration..

Just be carefull yo don't leave it sit to long in the pantry.. and try to keep a little in the fridge for those that like it cold..

It doesn't really matter. It's more of your preference of cold ketchup or not. Nothing in ketchup really "spoils."

I put it in the fridge once it's open. I don't like taking the risk of bacteria growing in it.

fridge

You really do need to refridgerate it after opening to prevent any possibility of food poisoning .TINA G has an awesome idea about the ketchup packs,Ive even seen boxes of them on sale in large stores like Sams, check it out.
peace><>

we like the fridge

but I know ppl who keep it, even after opening, in the pantry. It's fine.

why does sour cream have an expiration date? it just doesn't matter.

pantry before its opened. Fridge after its opened. but the one in the restraunt once empty they are through out

I put it in the pantry because I don't see any instruction to refrigerate after opening and I just don't have enough room for everything...

we always keep ours in the pantry and always have....it hasnt gone bad in the 18 years of us doing this...

It usually says on the bottle 'refridgerate after opening'.
