Yes it is. I'm vegan and I drink it, there's nothing wrong with it as far as I'm aware.
Although on an entirely different basis I wouldn't suggest drinking it.
It's not helpful for sport or really for energy - if you are eating properly and drinking enough water you should not need extra energy boosts.
It's basically just sugar and you should limit the amount you take in.
