Going to the Farmer's Market?!

Question:

Going to the Farmer's Market?

I'm going to the Farmers Market today; what kind of fruit do you think I should buy?

I want something yummy!

Answers:
Depends on where you live.

The best fruit to buy is what is in season locally.

Here in NJ strawberries are in. They are best fresh from the field. Blueberries will be in season soon and is some places may already be available.

Best bet is to ask the grower. They might even let you try a little bite of what they have so you can see how good it is and make a better choice.

Good luck

buy whatever look the best

try some korean melon, or guava

Peaches and plums are in season here right now. Mmm, nothing like walking around the Chef's Market eating fruit.

Cantaloupe!!! It's in season and oh so yummy and juicy. I have some diced up in my fridge right now!

strawberries and whipped cream

All the of them if you can. You can try some mangos, organic banana, some apples, some watermelon, some strawberries (good for a smoothe), and you can try some pineapples. I hope that answered your question.

bananas, strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries. When they start to go bad you can throw them in the blender with some orange juice, yogurt and ice and make a smoothie...YUM
