Question:

I'm interested in having a clam bake on the beach.....?

...but where in the hell is this legal? I don't know of anywhere in Delaware, Maryland or New Jersey where you can build a fire on the beach. Do you??? Or is it only legal in parts of New England?


Answers:
call your local visitors center and they will have the local info you seek..but you do not need to have sand for a clam bake..all you need is a hole, lots of seaweed, some rocks and a few hours
wow i want to come. try having it on a private beach and tell the fire department.
