Cooking techniques and recipies for my new grill?!

Question:

Cooking techniques and recipies for my new grill?

I have received a new CHAR-BROIL Deluxe-8000 gas grill/oven. This unit is "powered" by LP Gas.
I am a complete novice when it comes to grilling. I am seeking *wonderful* recipies and techniques to use with my new grill.
Thanks for all ideas and now you will know what is causing the pluming black smoke cloud from Texas, so there is no need to worry. |==D:-) <-How does my CHEF CAP look on me?

Answers:
Slice up one green bell pepper, one red bell pepper, and one vidalia onion into thin strips. Mix the strips in a large bowl with two tablespoons of olive oil and some seasoned salt. I usually use a spicy seasoned salt. Lay them flat on a long sheet of aluminum foil (use two sheets to keep it from busting when you turn it). Form a pouch around the veggies, folding the ends enough where you can flip it with tongs. Poke a couple of holes in the pouch to let a bit of air in. This will keep the pouch from expanding on the grill and will make it easier to turn. Grill on high heat for 15-20 minutes depending on how soft you like them. Flip the pouch at least once. These are great as a side dish, or smothered on a steak!

You look great!! Hey, that's the most important thing. And, thanks for the explanation of the black smoke. Grilling is so much fun and you can doooo so many things. Here is a web site that you should subscribe to and get all the recipes and goodies from it you can. Good luck and happy grilling.

do not cook on high..grilled foods are to be cooked slow to allow the flavors to blend..it is the key to food cooked throughout and great tasting

Hey, I see you are from Texas, So am I. Don't you just love this great State?
Anway, back to cooking.

These are great and I am sure you have heard of them, Armadillo Eggs.
Jalapenos, sliced lengthwise, seeded and take out veins
Fill each half w/ cream cheese
Wrap each half that is filled w/ a piece of bacon and secure w/ toothpick
Grill on low to medium until bacon is done.
I PROMISE, YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!!

I have more recipes for the grill, some we made just messing around and turned out really well and some I got from Food network.
Unfortunately my boss put a stack of billing on my desk so I have to go!!!!!!!!
Good luck Grilling!!!!!!!!!!
