Question:

Is there a secret trick to getting the ice cubes out of the ice tray?

Answers:
bend and twist it as much as it takes to get them out. if they still don't come out try using a fork. hope i helped! =]

You just twist the tray. Like turn the left side toward you and the right side away from you at the same time (you don't have to actually make the tray twist but the motion will crack the ice).

Run water over the bottom first, they will come out very easy after you do that.

Just twist the tray and they should come out.

run water over the bottom

the twisting will work, but I also used to take the tray and tap it on the counter a few times. This also pops them out.

Or if you can find them....buy the OLD ice trays that are metal that have to handle on them that pops the ice out.

Depending on how old you are, you may not have any clue what those were.

use rubber ice trays

All of the answers about twisting and running water are correct. However, maybe your ice cube trays need to be cleaned. Sometimes they get a little limed up. Clean them with water with a little white vinegar in it. Wash with soapy water and rinse well before you fill them again for making ice.

If you mean loosening the ice, twisting the tray would do the trick, but if you mean actually pulling the cubes out, I say use your fingernail to pull out the cube from the corner.

Rinse it under hot water for 30 seconds.
