Are breakfast crepes unhealthy?!

Question:

Are breakfast crepes unhealthy?

Answers:
I guess it depends on what you define healthy as. If you're on a diet...they are probably a bad idea.

It also depends on what you're filling it with. When I was young, I used to make crepes and then melt some butter...pour some of that on there and then top with brown sugar. Spread it around and roll it up. THEY WERE GREAT. They still are....but that's not healthy.

I also know places like IHOP and other breakfast places sell them filled with a cream filling and fruit. That is also probably not too healthy depending on how much cream you put in it.

However, i'm sure you can find a healthy version. Try this site below. You can also go to Google and put in "healthy crepe recipes" and it'll give you a list of sites

They contain quite a bit of sugar, but aren't too much worse than pancakes. I guess it depends on what you fill them with, also. Every recipe can be made with low-fat ingredients to make it healthier.

not if served with fresh fruit!
