Quick home made frosting?

i'm making chocolate cake...i have choclate chips and any of the regular kitchen ingredients.....any recipieS for frosting?

INGREDIENTS
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
* 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
* 2 tablespoons milk

DIRECTIONS
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Place confectioners' sugar in a large bowl. Pour in cocoa mixture. Beat well (mixture will be extremely thick). Beat in milk, a teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is achieved.

KAHALA'S FLUFFY CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1 stick softened butter
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, dark looks best
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3+ cup whole milk
1 tablespoon vanilla or
2 tsp favorite extract
1/4 tsp salt

Mix butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in medium mixing bowl. Slowly add milk and extract. Add more milk a tablespoon at a time until desired texture and volume is reached.

I like cream cheese frosting which is healthier.
Cream Cheese Topping:

* 57 g unsalted Butter, room temperature
* 227 g cream Cheese, room temperature
* 230 g icing Sugar
* 1 tsp Vanilla extract
* 1 Lemon, zest
* Beat the cream cheese and butter,slowly until very smooth with no lumps.
* Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar and beat, gentely again until fully incorporated and smooth.
* Beat in the vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
* Serve with tea or coffe for afternoon tea.
