Are oreo thinsations vegan?!
Are oreo thinsations vegan?
Just wondering becuz i dont think i saw any milk products in the ingridients but i dont noe my scientific stufss...
Answers:
Not sure..I believe regular oreos are vegan now, but I'd advise trying to not buy oreos or a lot of processed foods. Oreos is nabisco, who is owned by kraft, who is owned by philip morris. This is an evil company and cares nothing about health for our country. In fact little of their products are good for you. Try looking for a recipe to make your own oreo type cookies, the filling is really easy to make and you could probably find a modified version thats much healthier. Why give your money to a company who makes steak sauce, mayonaise, cheez whiz and gelatin jell-o?

There's all kinds of crap out there. If you don't understand what the ingredients are don't eat. They put all kinds of things like, fat from the stomachs of pigs, cows even cats and dogs. Yuck!
Hm not sure about those but if you check petas I can't believe it's Vegan! site, they do have these oreos listed:
Nabisco Uh-oh Oreos, Spring Oreos, Chocolate Creme Oreos
Nabisco Oreo Thin Crisps (is that it?)
Hope that helped some.

*ya ive heard mixed messages on that and they do state that its meant to make the transition easier. What I think is they assume natural ingredients are vegan...as its obviously easy to figure out the rest.. ;)
To an answer above me about checking peta, I wouldn't. It's a nice guideline but always read the back. It lists starbursts as vegan but on the back it clearly contains gelatin which comes from animal bones and marrow.
I do not believe that oreos are vegan. I know at one time they contained lard so I would not think that they were vegan even if they do not contain it anymore.
Try looking up the ingredients online?
There is creme in the middle so I would guess no from what I just looked up online.
