GAZPACHO BLOODY MARY

1/3 c. parsley leaves
3 sm. garlic cloves
1 sm. onion, quartered
2 lg. tomatoes, peeled
1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
2 tsp. coriander
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
Pinch cayenne pepper

Mix all ingredients in food processor. Refrigerate overnight. Fill glass with ice. Add 1 ounce vodka. Fill with bloody mary mix and garnish with lemon and cucumber sticks. Bloody mary mix keeps refrigerated for 1 week.

The basic bloody mary is tomato juice with a shot of vodka added.

Some bartenders add celery juice or celery salt, which adds a little zing without making it hotter. If the bartender doesn't add a little table pepper, most people will pepper it themselves.

Some people add pepper sauces like, say, tobasco sauce. Many hot sauces have a lot of hot, not a lot of pepper, and I'm not crazy about that, but then again, many people drink to get loaded, not for the enjoyment of the drink, and I'm not crazy about that, either. (I'm a *different* kind of crazy....)

At my work i see them mix regular tomato juice with like vodka i think and some people add tobasco sauce lemon juice and pepper to it

My favorite is Mr and Mrs T's fancy mix, add with Absolute vodka... plus about 4 or 5 drops of original red Tabasco sauce.

try a caesar. Like a bloody mary except with Clamato juice. It's extremely popular in Canada.

Clamato is clam and tomato juice, most people outside of Canada (and apparently no one in England) have heard of it.

This is pretty tasty too. Tomato juice, Worcestershire Sauce, Horseradish, pepper, celery salt and Tabasco. Of course, you need to add Vodka too!
