Chocolate bars on brownies?!


Question:

Chocolate bars on brownies?

after i make the brownies im gonna put chocolate bars on top and put on the lid and they should melt, but i was wondering, would the brownies be too moist?

and if so can someone tell me another method to do this

I use Chocolate chips right after removing the brownies from the oven and it works, why not the bars? Sounds GREAT!

CANDY BAR BROWNIES

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
Dash of salt
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
6 Heath bars, chopped

Blend sugar, flour, and butter as for pie dough. Reserve 1 cup mixture for topping. To remaining crumbs, add salt, egg, buttermilk, and soda mixed; add vanilla. Mix well. Pour into well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add nuts and chopped Heath bars to reserved 1 cup topping mixture. Spread on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 1 dozen.

CANDY BAR BROWNIES

4 lg. eggs, lightly beaten
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cocoa
4 (2.15 oz.) MILKY WAY? bars, coarsely chopped
3 (1.55 oz.) milk chocolate bars, finely chopped

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; stir into sugar mixture. Fold in chopped MILKY WAY? bars. Spoon into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; sprinkle with chopped milk chocolate bars.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.

Do each brownie separately,but insert chocolate inside.Make sure that it will not run out when cooked.Delicious.....Bumblebee...

The chocolate bars sound great and delicious. Sometimes I use chocolate frosting on top of my brownies.
