The bartender at the restaurant I used to work at made some excellent ones using thawed frozen strawberries. Not sure exactly how many strawberries to add... I would just start out with a cup of milk in a blender. Add strawberries until the color looks right (a little darker than desired because the ice creme will dilute it). Whip untill smooth. Add 2 scoops of ice cream and whip again until the ice cream is no longer "chunky". Not too long or the shake will get too thin...
She sometimes added a little Amaretto too...
You could of course use strawberry syrup or Quick instead of the frozen strawberries...
1 banana - 1/2 pint milk - 2/3 big scoops of ice cream - handful of strawberries. teaspoon of crunchy peanut butter.
blend together
add sugar if not sweet enough
crush frozen strawberries and add milk and sugar.
blender fresh strawberries and add milk and sugar and add whipping cream on top. simple no?
The one I love is as follows:
Milk
Strawberries
Brown sugar
Vanilla extract
Blend it all together and enjoy.
STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE
1/2 c. light cream
1/2 c. milk
1 c. vanilla or strawberry ice cream
1 tbsp. honey
1 c. strawberries
2 tbsp. crushed ice
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick. Serves 2.
