It's called Pretzel Jello. It's awesome!

Pretzel Jello Dessert recipe
1 large box strawberry gelatin
1/2 pint strawberries, frozen or fresh
2 cups crushed pretzels (tiny twists are the best!)
3/4 cup margarine
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 (16 ounce) container whipped topping
3/4 cup granulated sugar

Prepare gelatin according to directions leaving out 1/2 cup water called for in gelatin recipe. Mix strawberries into gelatin and refrigerate until partially jelled.

Mix pretzels, margarine and sugar together and pat into bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cream together cream cheese, thawed whipped topping and sugar and spread over pretzel mixture. Pour gelatin mixture over ingredients in pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.

Experience~ I've made this for years!! :)

This pie has a pretzel crust and is filled with a fresh strawberry, whipped cream, and gelatin filling for a quick dessert.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups crushed thin pretzel sticks (see Notes)
3 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
2 cups boiling water
2 heaping cups sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 cup whipped topping (see Notes)
1 package (6 ounce) strawberry flavor gelatin
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 400 F.

Finely crush pretzels with a rolling pin or food processor. Combine crushed pretzels with 3 tablespoons sugar and butter. With a spatula, press pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan to form a crust. Bake 6 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely.

Pour 2 cups bowling water over strawberry gelatin. Stir until melted and let cool to room temperature.

Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and whipped topping until combined. Spread evenly over cooled crust.

Add strawberries to cooled gelatin and let thicken slightly. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm.

Cut into squares to serve.

Yield: 24 to 36 servings, depending on cut size

Notes: As for the pretzels, select thin pretzel sticks. A 9-ounce package is plenty for the pie shell. Real whipped cream may be used, of course, but Cool Whip and prepared Dream Whip work equally as well and are not quite as rich and heavy.

This is fairly simple to make, and there isn't much baking involved, which is good in the summertime.

Ingredients:
Crust:
2 cups crushed pretzels (about 8 ounces)
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Filling:
2 cups whipped topping
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar

Topping:
1 package strawberry flavored jello
2 cups boiling water
2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen sliced strawberries with syrup, thawed
Additional whipped topping (optional)

Instructions:
In a bowl, combine pretzels, butter and sugar, press into the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch deep pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 C) for 10 minutes and cool.

For the filling, beat whipped topping, cream cheese and sugar until smooth; spread over pretzel crust and chill.

For topping, dissolve jello in the boiling water, stir in strawberries with syrup, then chill until partially set. Carefully spoon it over filling. Chill for 4-6 hours, then cut into squares and serve with whipped topping and more strwberries, if desired. Enjoy, its a nice cool treat for the summer.

Makes 12-16 servings.
