Any ideas for a sweet 15 ?

if you are plannin to have one or already had one what color did you use. does red and silver look good

Answers:
To all those idiots who don't know about the 15 yr. old party, the quinceanera or 15 yr. old party is a huge debutant party for latins. It is just like a wedding. However, Gaby, I have to say that it is sweet 16 not 15.
Red and silver are beautiful. My niece had a quinceanera. Since her birthday was in December she used burgundy for the girls dresses and she used white. Her theme was angels.
A friend of mine's daughter is having a sweet 16 and she is using pink, with her dress being pink. Her theme is butterflys. Hope this helps. If you need more advice you can reach me at mysticmoonprincess01@yahoo.com put party in the subject box. good luck

Sweet 15? WTF

How about you pop all of those zits on your face. Disgusting.

no such things as sweet 15, its sweet 16. 15 is not a big celebration. 1st, 10th, 16th, 18th, and 21st are big.

you got to have a band come

Black and red looks good

Didn't know 15 was sweet. Kidding! Red and silver would look fine, plan well and have a great party.

all you girls need to know that being spoiled and having everyone buy you s**t is a sad excuse for being so annoying. What happened to the good days when a few friends, a case of microwave popcorn, a movie, and a case of mountain dew constituted a party?

Dont be a spoiled brat. 18 and 21 are big birthdays. Your still just a dumb kid at 15.

Nevermind the negative comments girl.
Have a sweet 15 if you want one, and yes, red and silver looks fab.

As others have said, I've never heard of "sweet 15" or that the 15th is anything special... not that all birthdays can't be "special". I also agree with someone else about going overboard with parties sometimes. Since it's the 15th, I'd consider keeping it simple but fun. Just get pizza and soda and just hang with friends and have fun. Maybe even rent some DVD's. Don't worry about special colors or even fancy decorating for this birthday. But... if you meant 16 instead of "15" (although it seems unlikely that anyone would miss a typo as obvious as that), I don't see why you can't make that a more special celebration. I don't believe there are any special colors associated with it, or not that I'm aware of. So if it's red and silver you like... that would look great, so go for it and have fun!

I also didn't know there was a sweet 15? The only ones that are really big are
1, 13, 16, 18, 21 and 40!!!

Unless you are following the mexican tradition which is called a quincinera. which is 15 in Spanish. But I think you also have to go through some type of Catholic thing for it to really count.

Never heard of a sweet 15 otherwise!!!

Red and silver look good together though!
