How do you know your Salmon is cooked enough (3 questions)?!

Question:

How do you know your Salmon is cooked enough (3 questions)?

I have a big slab of Atlantic Salmon, it says when you can flake it w/ a fork, its done. How else can you tell?
It stays the same color right?
And .... what are the dangers of eating undercooked salmon?

Answers:
I think raw salmon is a bit brighter in color. Some people like it cooked a little raw in the middle, though I prefer to have it cooked through. I guess it all depends on your own preference. Honestly I don't know if there are any dangers because of the way some people eat it.

The flaking with the fork is the best method...fish will come apart easy if it is done...it will look kind-a rubbery if it is not done and maybe a little darker in color.

i like my fish to have some rawness in the middle. if you are a healthy adult there is no danger to eating raw salmon. this assumes you are eating wild salmon that has no color or preservatives added to it. if you must eat this kind of farm raised salmon i would cook it through. generally about 3 to 4 minutes a side on med high heat will get it done. i would say the fork method is the easiest to know for sure.
