Which salt is the best to use when cooking?!

Question:

Which salt is the best to use when cooking?

When I go to the Supermarket I see a variety of cooking salt, but I have no idea which one to choose from. One said this salt doesn't contains sulfur or somethhing like that. Do you know which one is the healthiest to use in the kitchen?

Answers:
i like to use sea salt because its all natural. iodized salt provides iodine which your body needs.

Sea salt is nice. There are salt connoisseurs that will tell you what salt is best for what...

I personally have a little glass tub of kosher salt next to my stove, just like Alton Brown! Once we tried kosher there was no going back to plain old Morton's again!

Sea salt is not as, well, salty. It is better for cooking but for baking stick to the iodized salt.

Iodized sea salt would be ideal. Since sea salt contains other minerals, there's less sodium than pure table salt (sodium chloride). And as you know, too much sodium can cause high blood pressure.

But still...you shouldn't EAT the whole box of sea salt.

Sea salt is also SLIGHTLY SLIGHTLY bitter. It adds an interesting, gourmet flavor to food.

i use regular salt

Bolivian rose salt
you can find it online

Kosher salt it best for cooking. Table salt is best for baking.

I use Iodized, sea salt and kosher and out of the three I prefer the kosher salt. You can also use lemons as a substitute for salt. Lemons are great and healthy for seasoning your foods. Look it up if you question it.

depends on what your cooking. i would imagine they all have pretty much the same health levels.

salt is needed to retain water in your body and flavor your food , but be careful too much salt isn't good for you. Mortin's lite salt is excellent and tastes very good I use to be a weight loss counselor and this is highly recommended for cooking .

Fleur de Sel, the best bar none!

Kosher salt
