Beef...is beef safe to eat...???!

Question:

Beef...is beef safe to eat...???

Answers:
Yes, the secret is in the storage/cooking temperature.
Even if you have some questionable ground beef.
Just be sure to keep it cool & don't handle it much.
Then sear the outside & cook it to medium-well.
Get a meat thermometer if you have any doubt.

The same rules apply to other meats.
Mad-cow disease has been contained.
With beef, the risk is e-coli bacteria.
With poultry, the risk is salmonella.
Fish is probably the safest, but it must be fresh.

Always prepare meats separately from veggies.
Best is to use a separate cutting board,
or mark each side, one red for meat,
other one green for veggies.
Wash it with a little bleach occasionally.

yes

only if it doesnt have mad cow disease proteins in it

Ive eaten it all my life...and I'm normal

Well, here in the United States it is. I'm not sure about other countries.

if it ain't, I'm a dead man.

med. well for me.

As long as u cook it well. If u eat it really raw then u may run into something bad like bacteria or if it is allowed to sit out in the open to long and flies use it. It is safe.

sure, everything in moderation

Yeah, as long as it's not rotten, full of maggots, or has green mold growing on it.

of course it is........my goodness if we stopped eating everything they told us to we'd starve
