Question:

What are some of your favorite summer time foods that............?

aren't too time consuming and don't require you to stand over a hot stove or grill? I don't know about you, but when it gets really hot out, I don't like to fill up on lot's of food. Something light will suffice. : )

Love brats on nice crusty buns slathered in mustard.
Love a good macaroni salad
It's easy to grill boneless/skinless chicken breast
Make a big batch of pasta, have plenty of your favorite sauce, they are so easy to microwave
Have plenty of different deli meats and some whole grain bread always on hand, various condiments and toppings like lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and make sandwiches.

those big dark red cherries are THE BEST. omg i could eat like 50 billion pounds of them. they are refreshing and juicy...just what you want in the heat of summer.

How about a nice fresh tomato sandwich with onions, pickles, romaine lettuce and mayo

Hamburgers, potato salad, and watermelon! Yum!

Fruits, cottage cheese, yogurt, tacos, chinese chicken salads, avocado and shrimp, etc. I always lose weight in the summer, then pack it back on in winter!!!

I make up a HUGE batch of pasta salad with pasta, my favorite veggies, and my favorite dressing (and maybe asiago or feta cheese). I put it in the fridge and snack on it here and there. It keeps for at least a week and I never get tired of it because I can switch it up whenever I want.

I eat more salads in the heat. I fill up on water and juices, and fruits during the hot months. Overcome and adapt, Marine.

watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, ham pasta salad, cheeseburgers, grilled hotdogs

Potato salad

oooh banana split cake its great and doenst really require any cooking at all

I love a good ball park frank slice it down the middle put it in the broiler till it sizzles a few minutes put a slice of American cheese on top brown a large deli roll for a few seconds under the broiler put sliced tomato and sliced dill pickle on top of the roll with the frank I like mustard on my roll you can add mayonnaise and ketchup if you prefer I make a mean potato salad but you can buy ready made at the market

A big dark green Black Diamond watermelon or "Pecos" brand cantelopes, the VERY best.

Salads............. and grilled fish, shrimp, crab or lobster and grilled white corn.
