What can i do to get even distribution of fruits & nuts when baking?!

Question:

What can i do to get even distribution of fruits & nuts when baking?

love baking but fruit and nuts always fall to bottom how can I correct this?

Answers:
If you put your fruits and nuts in a separate dish and toss with a tablespoon of flour, it should keep them evenly distributed.

Generally this means your batter (sugar/butter/egg/flour mix) isn't strong enough to hold the fruits and nuts. For the fruits a light flour coating can help, Not sure what to suggest for the nuts. Maybe chop them more finely?

I really have never had that problem, at all. Are you mixing your batter well enough??

Dust 'em with a little flour before you put them into the batter. I don't know why, but it works.

put them in a bag and sprinkle a little flour in the bag and shake don't use to much you just want a light coat
