How does the butter get onto the popcorn in microwave popcorn bags?!

Question:

How does the butter get onto the popcorn in microwave popcorn bags?

Answers:
There are small pale yellow balls of butter-flavored fat mixed in with the popcorn. Tear open a bag before popping and check it out. The balls of fat bounce around and melt as the popcorn pops, coating the popcorn.

I think that it is just sprayed on. Never enough though always add lots more.

oh it just does.
magic

it looks like its accually on the bag then it melts...doubt it tho lol

The kernals are placed on top of a layer of solid butter substance. When heated, the "butter" melts while the popcorn is being popped.
