How to put breading on chicken?!

Question:

How to put breading on chicken?

Any good ideas on how to bread chicken? I'm planning on making a chicken parmesan-type meal, but I'm not sure on how to bread the chicken... Suggestions?

Answers:
Beat an egg in a bowl, put breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip the chicken in the egg, then coat both sides with the breadcrumbs.

just follow this recipe, it's easy!

BAKED PARMESAN CHICKEN

1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
2 tsp dried basil leaves
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
6 split chicken breasts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In 13x9in baking pan melt butter in oven. Meanwhile in bowl mix all ingredients exept milk and chicken.

Dip chicken breasts in milk and then coat in flour mixture. Dip chicken in butter then place skin side up in pan. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and golden brown.

(Parmesan cheese forms a crunchy coating on this oven-baked chicken.)

I've always used melted butter. Try soaking the chicken for a minute and then role the buttered chicken in your mix.

For chicken parm I just dip the chicken in eggs beaten with a little bit of milk, then place the chicken in parmesan cheese, italian seasoned bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Turn the chicken and press firmly into the crumbs.

You can try putting the dry coating in a zip lock bag and with one or two pieces at a time shake them up. Or you can try putting your coating on wax paper and roll the chicken in the crumbs.

Most of the recipes I've seen from the Food Network always double dip the chicken. Everyone almost always use flour, eggs with milk, and bread crumbs or more flour.

In a large bowl or on a plate, pour out a cup or two of flour, season with your favorite seasonings.
In another bowl, scramble a few eggs with some milk
In a third bowl, pour in bread crumbs (seasoned ones if you like) or more flour.

Wash and pat dry the chicken. Dip in first bowl of flour, shake off excess.
Dip in egg mixture.
Then dip in last bowl of bread crumbs or flour. Make sure to coat well.
Let breaded chicken rest on a plate for a few minutes. This process will allow the flour and breadcrumbs to dry a little bit, thus helping it all stick to the chicken.
When it comes to frying, heat a large pan with enough oil to cover the chicken about midway. The oil is ready when you sprinkle flour in the pan and it sizzles.

Good luck! I love chicken parm, and have made it quite a few times, although I've actually done away with the frying and coating of the chicken. I now cook my chicken breasts in foil packets, covered with a bit of spaghetti sauce, at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, then pull them out, cover with more sauce and then cheese.
I also love to serve my chicken parm with parmesan couscous (a very small tender pasta) instead of the regular spaghetti. The baking and couscous save on tons of fat and calories, and still makes a filling dish!
