How long do you cook chicken breasts with bones on a gas grill?!

Question:

How long do you cook chicken breasts with bones on a gas grill?

Answers:
It depends on the heat of the grill and how far the chicken is from the heat. Use a dry rub on the breasts so that they will not burn. You can then baste with a wet sauce five minutes before taking off the grill.

The chicken breasts are done when you feel the same amount of resistance when you press on the breasts as when you press on the meaty part of the palm of your hand. There should be a little give. Always cut into one to make sure that the juices run clear. Do not over cook because they will be too dry. Good Luck!

You can cook them for 50 minutes on medium, but I prefer to boil them until they are almost completely done and then put them on medium to high heat on the grill for 10 minutes. I think they come out a lot moister

My husband says it takes him 45 min. We use a general seasoned salt for the seasoning.

And it is moist but tender and DONE in 45 min.

:)

I usually cook them until they are done
