What is the best way to straighten curly hair without using chemical treatments?!

Question:

What is the best way to straighten curly hair without using chemical treatments?

Answers:
A hot blow dryer and flat iron would do the trick. Be sure to use anti frizz products.

I would suggest a flat curling iron. It contains no chemical treatment.

I have SUPER curly hair. I use All Soft Shampoo and All Soft Heavy Cream Conditioner. Then I use Sebastian Potion 9 , or Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.

I let mine air dry....much better for it.

Then I use a GOOD straight iron from the beauty supply store....about $40 instead of $15 and WELL worth it.

I use a thermal protector spray first. Just about any brand will do.

Then I flat iron it.

:)

Works GREAT. So really, wash, condition and air dry first.

Then a good thermal protector for the straight iron, later when it is really dry.

I use a straightener. I have an Enzo Milano, but I know that the CHI straighteners are really good, too. I've tried cheap Target straighteners and they don't work very well. I wash my hair at night and it gets all curly and frizzy while it dries, but in the morning I plug in my straightener and in about 20 - 25 minutes, my hair is straight and flat! I don't need to use any products, although the Redken glass 01 makes your hair even softer...once you use a good straightener, you won't do anything else with your hair. I love mine. I received it as a gift and it was about $100. I think the CHI ones are comprable in price.

I spent years and years blow drying my hair straight and it didn't even turn out very good. I am so pleased now that I have straight hair! (And I can go about 3 days before having to wash it again, which is nice. Doing my hair curly, I did it everyday.)

Good Luck!

hair and food dont mix

flat iron, or pick parents with straight hair. And what does this have to do with cooking?

I have extremely kinky curly hair and i have tried to straighten it every way you can think of and the best way without any chemicals is to flat iron it straight make sure to put a defrizz gel in it. I have a lot of hair so i can't and don't have the patience to do it myself b/c it takes 3 and a half hours to straighten my hair so i go to my salon and let my girl do it but other than that embrace what god gave you where it curly just use alot of conditioner but it feels good to run your fingers through your hair

First of all you are in the wrong section this is cokking and recipies and to answer your question try a curls free shampoo or a flat iron.
