I want to know about soya milk, good and bad about it?!

Question:

I want to know about soya milk, good and bad about it?

If it is available in your area let me know your idea about the product

Answers:
It made from soy bean. Soy bean is good for you. It is very healthy if you like the taste.

soya milk is actually good for you

i cant take it as it reminds me too much of baby/infant formula

For most people, it is better for you than dairy products. BUT-and it's a big but-those who have had breast, uterine, ovarian or other estrogen uptake cancers should avoid soy products, as they mimic estrogens and can cause more problems. That's why many OTC menopause products are soy based, they help replicate the estrogens the menopausal woman is losing.

there is nothing at all bad about soy products unless you are allergic to soy products. Soy milk is much healthier than cows milk but either is fine for children. In the interest of nutrition and cholesterol, it is better for adults over 30 to drink soy milk. The only downside of whole milk is that it is designed by nature to put about 300 pounds on a baby calf in its first year of life. After the cream is removed of course.

i don't know about your country but here in India its available ever where, soya milk taste some what bitter but if added sugar and chocolate powder in it it taste good

You can get nice ones and not so nice ones - test a few as they vary greatly.

I don't drink hot drinks but I gather you have to put the milk in first if you use soya milk.

It's easier on the digestion than dairy for most people.

Drinking soya rather than dairy means you don't have to put a cow through misery and pain - and unfortunately in the commercial milk industry they do tend to suffer!
