I want some healthy smoothie recipies.?
I want to start running everyday so I thought a healthy smoothie would be nice afterwards. I don't want to lose weight just healthy drink.

STRAWBERRY-BLACKBERRY SMOOTHY
6-8 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
6-8 blackberries (fresh or frozen)
8 ice cubes
2 1/2 cups lowfat or non-fat milk
1 scoop whey powder
Rinse and cut tops of strawberries, and rinse blackberries. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy.
Perfect for dieting, or leave out whey powder and add ice cream for a delicious smoothy drink.
Makes about 3-5 cups.
CREAMY DELIGHT SMOOTHY
1 banana
6 strawberries
1 c. milk
3 t. yogurt
5 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 c. cream
2 t apple juice
2 t vanilla
Blend all ingredients and prepare to enter heaven!
FRUIT FOR THE DAY SMOOTHIE
1 can of Mandarin Oranges (including syrup)
2 frozen bananas, peeled & sliced
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 1/2 cups milk
Add all ingredients in the order listed above to the blender. Be sure to hold down the lid and blend on low speed for 30 seconds. Then blend on high speed for 1 minute.
1 scoop of protien powder unflavored. 4 ice cubes, 4 oz. milk, or juice. I use 1/2 banana, 1/4 C. cherries (dont forget to pit them) 1/4 of strawberries. 1/2 C. fresh pineapple. Blend on highest setting for about 45 seconds to 1 minute. This is such a delicious recipes, and all the flavors are great together!!! I drink it 3 times a week, and my 4 year old requests it about twice a day!!
smoothies are just "you're own taste" creations. Some ice, along with a healthy fruit juice and any fruit of your choice is a healthy smoothie. There is no limit to what you can do with a smoothie. Just experiment with what you like and enjoy it!!
1 package silken lite Tofu
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
orange juice to aid in blending
sugar or other sweetener to taste
Drain liquid from tofu and place all ingredients in blender and liquify.
This Tofu smoothie is delicious and provides about 14 grams of protein and very little fat. Whether you are on a diet or not this is a great drink and can be a complete meal. You can also add wheat germ or other nutritional products to suit your needs.
one that i like that fills me up and i could drink for a meal is...
a smoothie with:
frozen strawberries (takes place of the ice)
some milk
banana
and some low fat yogurt
its nice and simple and when you mix it all together it will taste great!!
but you can also try different yogurts and berries
instead of frozen strawberries, you could use frozen blackberries and there are many yogurts you can use.
