Anyone know what "Plotz" is?!

Question:

Anyone know what "Plotz" is?

Help--I saw this on a sign in a NY delicatessen in an old television show episode.
The sign said: "We have Plotz"
Is it a Jewish food?
thanks.....

Answers:
I wonder if you misread it? Plotz, as already said, is an idiom for 'I'm past it' (I'm ready to plotz) or 'burst/explode' (If grandpa saw you doing that, he'd plotz). However, might it have read 'We have Platz'? This would mean.' we have a seating area / seating facilities' -- you said it was a deli? Possible?

Just flying a kite... :-)

its a band ..thats all i knows...maybe they meant pluots..its a fruit

That's odd. Plotz was a term for losing it, basically pooping your pants

Actually, my grandmother makes a dish called Plots with an S and it's good. It's like, you make bread dough and form it into thick disks. Then you pan fry it and top it with icing. It's a secret family recipe icing that no store could EVER make though.
