Does anyone know how much garlic powder would equal a clove of garlic?

1/8 tsp garlic powder = 1 clove

If memory serves...1/8 of a teaspoon.

You can never use too much garlic ....

I think a teaspoon is about the same as 1 clove of garlic.

1/8 teaspoon--according to the back label of a jar of McCormick garlic powder.

Substitute 1 clove for every 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

although people will say 1/8 of a teaspoon, we fail to note that garlic cloves come in different sizes......so this is hard to determine.

I buy the minced in a jar for the best garlic flavor without all the work, 1/2 tsp minced = 1 clove.
