Sardinitos: A Crunchy, Fish-Flavored Snack?!

Question:

Sardinitos: A Crunchy, Fish-Flavored Snack?

Fellow Yahoo!Answers member Pam and I have decided to develop and market a new snack food called, "Sardinitos!" It will be like eating crunchy, sardine-flavored Cheetos. How much do you think we should charge per bag? What type of mascot/spokesperson should we have for the commercials? I'm thinking a little sardine guy who scampers around trying not to get crushed by marching soldiers boots. When he finally gets stomped on, we realize he was not an ordinary, slimy sardine, but a crunchy sardine, and the soldier reaches down and eats him. "Mmm, Sardinitos!" I haven't run this idea by Pam yet. Do you think she will go for it?

Answers:
hehe.. I like your idea of the commercial. I think it will be memorable by people who watch it. Nice one.

About how much you should charge per bag, first of all, where are you planning to sell this snack? What country are you in? It depends what other people in your country are willing to pay for such a snack. If you browse around the shops that sell similar snacks you will get a good idea. Of course, the price you charge to whole sellers would be much less than what they sell in the shops for, so just keep that in mind. First work out what people are willing to pay for the retail price, then work out the whole sale price by dividing it down.

All the best!
