What does a gourment chef have in the kitchen?!

Question:

What does a gourment chef have in the kitchen?

Answers:
1 - good knives (be sure to have a choice of serrated AND non-serrated) that are SHARP.

2 - cooking utensils - whisks, large spoons (with and without slats), spatulas, can opener, potato peeler, potato masher, large forks, potholders, etc.

3 - nice selection of seasonings (SALT AND PEPPER...garlic powder, lemon pepper, etc.) I prefer Kosher salt and freshly-ground pepper, myself.

4 - good-quality food (ingredients) to work with (keep garlic, onions and bell peppers on hand...you'll more than likely use at least one of those ingredients with any meal)

5 - CUTTING BOARDS

6 - plenty of different sized bowls and pots (skillet, dutch oven, sauce pan), baking pans

7 - BUTTER!!! ;)

Personal experience! I COOK!

Sharp knife, fresh ingredients, sharp mind.

I ASSUME YOU MEAN BESIDES THE FOOD.
a GOOD SET OF KNIVES. chefs KNIFE, paring AND A SLICER.
Good quality, heavy bottom pans . Saute pan sauce pan and a large pot.
Several glass, ceramic or stainless bowls, several sizes.
A whisk, strainer and definitely a pepper mill.

fuckin', not much. I'm so poor. I've got all my equipment, but in my fridge I've got a box of pizza, some fuckin' condiments, some booze, and that's close to it. any chef saying that they've got much more than that is a straight up liar.

A GAS STOVE. Electric stoves never work for the perfect food.

A quality sharp all purpose chef's knife. Kosher salt & fresh pepper mill. Gas range. Wine.
