Starbucks brewed coffee?!

Question:

Starbucks brewed coffee?

I want to try some of the different coffees they have, not the drinks like latte or mocha, but the actual different brews.

^Those, but I am thinking they don't brew all those everyday and you can't just go in and tell them to brew you a cup of your choice on the spot right? Do they pick one each week/day or something and that is the one they use? How do they do it and how do you find out which one they have that day? And are other places like The Coffee Bean like that too? Thanks.

Answers:
Starbucks has coffees of the week. There are 3 per week that we brew all week long. A bold/mild or medium/decaf.
You can request the barista to brew you a french press of any of the coffees we carry but they will charge you for the whole french press which is either 8 or 12 cups and is $3.75 for the 8 cup and can't remember the 12 cup price but probably around $3.95. This is a lot less expensive way to try the coffees rather than buying a whole pound for yourself. But a word of advice....Please be nice and considerate of the time it takes to measure out and grind/brew the coffee in a press...about 10 minutes total maybe less but if you are nice about it the baristas should be more than willing to do this and more for you.

employee of the coffee giant that is starbucks

most coffee houses have 2 or 3 regular coffees they brew every day, then they rotate other blends weekly. it depends on the place. just go to your local starbucks or wherever you go and ask them what their rotation is.

Starbucks usually has a light roast, dark roast and decaf. Just try them. I know they change their coffees around with the seasons.
