My dad makes the best sweet potato pie..It is so delicious and no one can touch his recipe!!..
My mum??? Hmmm... usually she doesn't make one but lately its fruit yogurt with strawberries. It is definitely nice and better to eat in small amounts since it's too sweet for me.
My Mum makes a delicious steam pudding! Topped with cream and some ice cream, it's heaven! She also makes the best banana cake. My Dad makes amazing meals, but isn't the greatest in the dessert department :)
My dad makes awesome fruit crumbles. So good.
My dad is an awesome cook and ever since he first made me some of his pumpkin muffins, I have been hooked. They are so good. He usually makes them with fresh pumpkin or a mix and what seems to be a bit more spice. When he adds the pecans he makes them somewhat of a fine ground.
Pumpkin Muffins (or cake)
2 cups flour
1/3 tsp salt
1 cup chopped pecans
4 eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups sugar
2 cups canned or fresh pumpkin
1 cup Wesson oil
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp soda
Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add oil and mix well. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan or muffin pan at 350F for 40 minutes or until center is set.
