In which category eggs are put up : Vegetarian Or Non-Vegetarian?!

Question:

In which category eggs are put up : Vegetarian Or Non-Vegetarian?

Answers:
Eggs are in the Vegetarian category because eggs come from chickens, but the chicken did not die to produce eggs.

"Did in animal die for this?" Is the deciding question in vegetarianism. That is why fish is in the Non-Vegetarian category (the fish is dead), and eggs are in the Vegetarian category (the chicken did not die, and there is no baby chicken inside that would die.

The deciding question for vegans is "Did this come from an animal?"

It depends
Vegans don't eat meat or anything that comes from animals like milk or eggs
Vegetarians just dont eat meat

Eggs are meat products, and are definitely not eaten by vegans, but there are plenty of ovo-lacto vegetarians that will eat them.

Vegetarians can eat eggs as there not a meat however vegans can't as they come from an animal.

Dude eggs are a meat source.Bottom line.

I put them in the yucky category.

Most would say "non"

A Lactose-Ovo Vegetarian consumes Dairy products and Eggs.
A Vegan is a strict vegetarian.

non. it came from an animal and will become an animal...that is if you don't eat it first

Vegetarians just dont eat the meat itself. Vegans dont eat or use any animal products. So eggs would still be considered vegetarian.

Hen lays eggs even without mating. Eggs laid without mating can be classified as vegetarian and the eggs which are laid after mating can be classified as non-vegetarian.All poultry eggs are laid by hen without mating.

Are eggs vegetables? Then you have to put the person who consumes them in a different Vegan category.

Vegetarian
There isn't a vegan category? if there is it should be under Religion not Food & Drink.
Vegans are anti eggs. or however it is said.

Eggs; the embryo of birds, fish, turtles, snakes?? etc.
Found in the dairy section

firstly: non vegetarians do not destroy animal life okkkkkkk

There are two kind of eggs:
1) eggs laid without mating i.e. non fertilized egg.So this egg is not going to be chick.Eating this u do not destroy the life of the chick

2) eggs laid after mating i.e. fertilized eggs.

The first one is white in color and second one is redish in color

So if u eat the white egg u don't destroy life so its veg while the other one is non veg

depends on your view - in am not a vegan but class eggs/fish as non meat items .

Most people calls eggs and fish as being non-vegetarian

I would say non-vegetarian
