Honeydew cantaloupe or green apple???
Which would be a healthier midmorning snack?

If your having to watch your carbs and sugars the green apple is best for you. Cantaloupe is on the higher end of the glycemic index as well as honeydew.
If you don't have to watch those things. I would cut them up and make a fruit salad so I didn't have to choose between them. (LOL)
Any of those would be a healthy snack. Make yourself a fruit salad and top with some soyatoo or whipped cream and a cherry.
They are all very healthy when it comes to a snack. The more nutritionally dense would be the apple, melons tend to have a high quantity of water compared to other fruit choices.
Since the melon has more water, it will fill you up more. The skin of the apple has more fiber, but the rest of the apple doesn't have much in the way of nutrients. The melon has more sugar.
So flip a coin.
well all melons are very watery and apples are not so watery and give you so much energy. Something really yummy that I figured out is a smoothie its sooo refreshing and yummy and it gives you so much energy, mix anything you want in it that way you don't have to choose just one fruit. Now I have to go and make a smoothie. :) Good Luck!
