What should I do with these Pasilla chilies?!

Question: What should I do with these Pasilla chilies?
They were starting to shrivel just a bit so I need to use them now. I do have them in the crock pot on low until I can figure out how to use them. I Googled them but it seems they are used for mainly sauces but I was hoping to find something different? Any advice will be great. ;}

Answers:

Since you have them in the crockpot, add onion, garlic, one or 2 whole cloves, one or two bay leaves, a cup or so of red wine and boil everything until the chilies are bright red.
blend all this and put it through a strainer to get rid of the seeds.
you could return the sauce to the crockpot and add some beef, like for stews. if the sauce is too thick you can add some of the juice you cooked the chilies in. put it on med. low and cook until the meat is falling apart.
make some mexican rice and beans, warm up corn tortillas and enjoy :)

(I don't think pasilla chilies can be stuffed since they're dried...unless you meant poblano peppers which are the same thing except they're in their fresh state)

They are used primarily in sauces, sometime stuffed with cheese or other filling and baked with a sauce. If you already have them cooking you can still make a sauce maybe with some onions, tomatoes and spices like cumin and chili powder.
Remove the stems if you haven't already and puree in a blender.
