Hidden Valley Ranch Oyster Crackers

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ ------------------------------...
16 ounces Plain oyster crackers
1 package HVR buttermilk recipe mix
1/4 teaspoon Lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon To 1 tsp dill weed
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
3/4 cup To 1 cup salad oil

Combine mix and oil, add dill weed, garlic powder and lemon pepper.

Pour over crackers, stir to coat. Place in warm oven for 15-20 mins.

put them in soup.

In a sealable bag, put oyster crackers, some oil, garlic powder, and ranch dressing powder mix... makes a good snack...or use the crackers in soup or chili

heat a can of tomato soup. Place a cut of butter in hot soup, top with crackers.

the recipe i use is probably the same as Jamie's but, i got it out of Sylvia's Soul Food Cookbook. I don't have the recipe on me but they are called "you can't eat just one snackin' crackers" They are absolutely addictive!

30 min 10 min prep
4-6 servings

12-16 ounces oyster crackers
1 package dry Hidden Valley Ranch dip
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup vegetable oil

1. Combine ranch mix and oil with a whisk.
2. Add the garlic powder.
3. Pour over crackers in a large bowl.
4. Mix well to cover.
5. Place crackers on a baking sheet and put in a warm oven for 15-20 minutes.
