How do you feel about this ethically?
Should this be legal?
If so explain.

Answers:

I live on the coast and there are several establishments that have them here. I think the lobster tank here is no different than the lobster tank in a grocery store. They've just turned selecting one into a a game partially of skill and partially of chance. I don't play them because I can't even get teddy bears out of the other such machines. I do know the only places i've seen these machines are in family type restaurants that have other amusements (mostly for the kids) and at sportsbars with more than your basic kitchen. So, they're hooked and cooked at the establishment.
Now if someone won one of those lobsters, clipped the rubber bands off its claws, take it to the shore and set it free, I would applaud that too.

So it's an arcade game, but grabs lobsters? If it should be illegal, it's because a whole new meaning to "don't play with your food." But, hey, I would like to have a challenge; it's a very nice, eye-catching way to bring in customers to the restaurant.

Boy, I would like to see that on a seafood-themed episode of Travel Channel show "Food Paradise."

Where is this restaurant anyway?

OMG that's hilarious! I hope it's real and not just a prank.

What is unethical our illegal about it? Doesn't seem to be any different than any other lobster tank at a restaurant. You've never been to a place where you can pick your own lobster?

At least you know it's fresh and not frozen!

Raptingly

At least it lowers it down instead of just dropping it but dude that's awesome.

I don't think it is legal.
