What part of the egg contains the protein?!

Question:

What part of the egg contains the protein?

the yellow part or white part?

Answers:
The egg white contains the majority of the protein. The yolk is the part that contains the cholesterol. There is 17 calories in the white, all protein; and there is 54 calories with the yolk. They both contain protein, but eating just the white is healthier.

Both. But the white part is all protein, while the yolk is protein and fat.

While many people
think the egg white has all the protein, the yolk actually provides nearly half of it.

Eggs provide a significant amount of protein to one's diet, as well as various nutrients.

The albumen, or egg white contains protein but little or no fat. ( It consists mainly of about 15% proteins dissolved in water) The main constituent of egg white is water at 83%.
Whereas the yolk contain all of the egg's fat and cholesterol, and almost half of the protein.

egg whites the yolk is the fat

the yolk because if you compare it to a cell it is the nucleus. If you want scrambled eggs with less cholestrol take 6 eggs and take away 4 yolks and use safflower oil and season to your taste. If you need to gain weight (darn I am jealous) use all the yolks and you will have nice breakfast or supper

Both
