What can I have for breakfast that won't weigh me down.?!

Question:

What can I have for breakfast that won't weigh me down.?

Every morning about 45 minutes after breakfast I go for a 5 mile bike ride and then a jog a bit later in the day. I've been having oatmeal and bananas, but I'm getting tired of it. I don't want cold cereal because dairy isn't really good to have when it's hot out (it's summertime in Florida). I want something low in sugar, fat, and calories. Any other suggestions?

Answers:
A boiled egg (take out half the yolk) and then mash, a piece of whole wheat toast, a piece of fruit and whatever you drink.

or for a change...take. two pieces of whole wheat toast put a slice of low fat American cheese (or whatever your preference) on it and place under the broiler until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted. Serve with some sliced tomatoes, a piece of fruit and whatever you drink.
Meat does not have to be in every meal to be delicious.

Scramble up some egg whites and one whole egg. You can put them on a tortilla with salsa if you like or add some spinach to them.
Whole wheat toast
Berries with fat free or sugar free cool whip

The best summer light breakfast is:

lowfat plain yogurt
1-2 tsp honey
1-2 oz. walnuts
fresh fruit (peach, berries, plum, etc.)
Just mix it gently (this is not s smoothie).

You get protein, fiber, calcium, and lots of vitamins- I've been eating it or years and it's the best hot-weather breakfast.

try a fruit salad

breakfast bar

toasted bagel with ham and egg
