Answers:
The best one was the person who DIDN'T WANT TO COOK and asked for quick ideas for a supper. She got a recipe that would have taken 2 hours to shop for ingredients and another 45 minutes to prep the food. . . what's worse, someone who can't ASK a question, or someone who can't answer. . . . . .
By the way, I think the best recipes come from those cookbooks sold through churches and schools, they are the tried and true home recipes that folks have used and handed down. . . .

People are making an effort and are trying to help, and many people benefit from those cut and pasted recipes and appreciate getting them. If that's not what you want, you need to say so without complaining... and you won't get cut and pasted. Sometimes a recipe is almost exactly as I've made it, or I've used the recipe (with success) that I'm cutting and pasting. So are you saying, even though we may have tried the recipe, we have to type out each and every step of the recipe when it's available to cut & paste? Uh huh... that makes sense.

I completely agree. When I ask for a recipes, I want new things or things that you have personally tried or old family recipes. Not things that I can look up on my own. I never pick "that person" for best answer.

Here is a pretty good bloody mary recipe:

Base: Clamato Bloody Caesar or other Bloody Mary Mix (Zing Zang is best, Tabasco is good-but not "bold" kind, Mr. and Mrs. T is average)
Add-ins: Worstershire Sauce
Lime juice
Drop of pickle juice/jalapeno juice
one drop extremely hot sauce (dave's insanity or endorphin rush) (optional)
5-10 drops of tabasco (to taste)
Dash of cayenne pepper
2-3 grinds of black pepper
celery stalk (optional)

If you make this a morning after drinking for your friends they will love you.

I have tried MOST (not all) of the recipes that I have cut and pasted. If I haven't, they come from websites where they are rated by those who have tried them. Plus, I always put a link to the site where they can check out other similar recipes and find the one that best suits their needs.

I like recipes that someone has tried and tested and that they can actually recommend, I DO cut and paste, but only the recipes I have tried myself, I wouldn't want to recommend someone cook something that turned out to be disgusting lol.

OOh OOh OOh, ask me for a recipe!
Mother of 5, ( 4 large well fed boys, and 1 picky girl).
Ask, and maybe I can help.
I am a Food network junkie, but modify all recipes to RAVE reviews!
