How many days can you keep eggs room temp?!

Question:

How many days can you keep eggs room temp?

I know you can keep eggs at room temp for quite a few days (my grandpa always had his in an egg basket) but I want to know what is the longest. We go thru eggs like crazy & they take up so much room in the fridge so I want to start keeping them in a hanging basket, but I need to know what is thee longest I can store them that way before they spoil. I keep my house 75°F-80°F. I would really appreciate answers from those who store (or have stored) their eggs this way, just to be certain.?Thanks in advance.

Answers:
I always leave them out; however, our room temps is a little lower than that in the kitchen.

We don't eat them like crazy and they are around for awhile; never got sick

none unless you want to get sick

Depends on what Room temperature is.

Put the eggs in a deep bowl of tap water.

If they float, they have gone bad.

If not use them.

That's the bottom line, isn't it?

that is fascinating. i neevr have heard of this!

with such temp. don't go for more then two weeks.
