Yes, it is.
It is aged but in brine not dry aged for months like cheddar and swiss types, it is better eaten fresher, I buy Canadian,Greek, Bulgarian and Turkish here in Toronto Canada, but my favourite is Bulgarian, is is creamy and made with sheep's milk.
