But just to be nice, I'll tell you. Scientifically, there is no answer. It varies. It's been tested by machines and there still is no real answer. The truth is, they have no uniform composition, and every single one varies.
I've actually counted before, it took me exacly 100 licks. The true answer is it depends on the person. (how big their tongue is, how much saliva they have, how much of it they lick, etc.)
