What can ducklings eat other then food you buy at a store?!

Question: What can ducklings eat other then food you buy at a store?
My friend is feeding her duck grass and bread and is giving her water. Is there anything else that she should feed her. Another question if you don't mind is should there be anything else in the box and how big should the box be?
Thanks :)

Answers:

First of all bread is not a good food for a duckling. It usually depend on the species of ducklings. You should always feed ducklings natural food. In the wild ducklings will eat water plants, seeds, insects, worms, spiders, tadpoles, and snails. Also you can go to your local pet shop and ask for duck starter food.
