I am curious are there Mormons working for Pepsi or Coke?

Answers:
Probably. I would guess so, people need to eat.

Until they trash your question...
It is against the law to discriminate regarding religion

Is it required for all Ford employees to drive Fords? Doubtful. The same holds true for any Latter-day Saints that might work for Pepsi or Coke.

Again, Pepsi and Coke are not within the Word of Wisdom but they are within the individual's word of wisdom criteria that they ought to abstain from ingesting any properties or substances that can be addictive or harmful to the body. This falls under the purview of God's great gift of free agency--to have the choice to do or not do.

Your question is a veiled attempt to deride those Latter-day Saints that might serve as employees of either soft drink companies. Remember that free agency is for all.

Sure there are. I work at a grocery store in Utah and some of the Pepsi/Coke people who come to stock the shelves are LDS. However you shouldn't hold that against them. They have to earn a living somehow and you can make good money working for those companies. Plus i believe they don't work Sundays....i could be wrong. But my understanding was they didn't deliver or stock shelves on Sunday. (Actually most vendors don't). Really why does it matter if they work for Coke/Pepsi anyway.

I'm sure there are.

I knew a friend that was LDS that delivered for 7-up. I haven't known any that worked for Pepsi or Coca-Cola.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was. Colas aren't against any rules of the Mormon Church (the only beverages the Word of Wisdom specifically warns against consuming are alcohol and "hot drinks," which has been interepreted to mean specifically coffee and tea).

My sister (us all being faithful Mormons) used to work at a local grocery store when she was 18 (this being a few years ago), and she humorously tells a story of the first time she had a customer ask her where the hard liquor was, and how afterwards another store employee had to explain to her about liquors, and the difference between the "hard" kind and the other types of liquor.

Mormons work for Vegas casinos. They even helped finance casinos and most of the 'establishments' along the Vegas Strip.

There's nothing immoral in working, even if the type of business is counter to anything that the Word of Wisdom. A bishop owning a string of bars might be odd or unusual, but as long as he pays his tithing, and keeps people employed there's no issue.

PEPSI?
