Peachy Strawberry Smoothie

1-1/2 cups milk
1 container (6 oz.) vanilla low-fat yogurt
3 Tbsp. KOOL-AID Strawberry Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix
1 cup frozen sliced peaches
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup POST HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS Cereal

PLACE all ingredients in blender container; cover.
BLEND on high speed 15 sec. or until smooth.
SERVE immediately.


Mixed Berry Smoothie

2 cups cold milk
1 container (6 oz.) strawberry low-fat yogurt
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1 cup frozen mixed berries
2 biscuits POST Shredded Wheat Cereal, crumbled

PLACE all ingredients in blender; cover.
BLEND on high speed 15 sec. or until smooth.
SERVE immediately.

bananna strawberry smoothie!! add some orange juice while ur mixing the banannas,strawberries and ice together!! freeze the the strawberries and banannas first!! wait till the bananna get really ripened!

I like the classic banana-strawberry-orange juice-ice smoothie, but lots of fruits taste good in smoothies. I add peaches and blueberries to my smoothies sometimes and that makes them good, too. It doesn't really matter about the concentration of fruit to juice. You can be the judge of that.

I like the good old Silk smoothies best. I use 2/3 cup vanilla silk (or you can use milk and vanilla flavor if you want) and any combination of fruit. Some good combos are:

1 banana, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 kiwi

1 banana, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup blueberries

1 banana, 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, 1/2 cup mango chunks

It works best if at least some of the fruit is frozen.

A good smoothie for detoxifying your system:
Pineapple 1/2 cup
Celery 1 stalk
Nopales (this is the flat leaf of the prickly pear cactus) 1/2 cup
Water enough
blend it all up
even tastes good

i nice homemade soup is perfect for u
i make it with chicken broth, but u can use veggie broth if u r a vegetarian or a rabbit...
put some onion and celery cut up in ur pan, add a little oil, whatever seasoning u like, carrot too if u want, let it cook a bit, add a few cloves of garlic (i make a big batch) and when it looks a little cooked, start adding the following:
a can of white beans
a can of kidney beans (or 2 if they r the small cans)
a can of tomatoes, chopped or in slices
a large container of broth
one or two small cans of tomato sauce

let that cook a bit. when it is up to a good simmer, u can add some pasta, whatever kind u like. ive used a few kinds, but the rigatoni worked best i my opinion. elbow macaroni is another great one.

let that all cook til it is at ur desired tenderness. u could also do this with all frsh beans if u like making fresh beans. i happened to have all these cans when i started making this soup, and i like how easy it is.

before ur soup is done u will need to season it again. i usually season it b4 the pasta goes in, and then again before it is finished. i dont salt it too much, cuz i always eat this with feta cheese, and only goat milk feta, the cow feta isnt as good at all.
