Does anyone know how to make Lard Bread?!

Question:

Does anyone know how to make Lard Bread?

It's a bread with peppercorns, chunks of cheese, salami, ham and something else.....I know it's delicious. I had it in New York and they made it only one day a week, I think because you wasn't supposed to eat meat on that day and this was a way to eat some meat. I don't know...help.

yeah it's called Lard Bread really.....may not sound good, but it is the best I eat the whole loaf (or two lol)

make a regular bread and add the stuff to it ......just as you would make up a peproni bread .
