Any "low-budget" themed cookbooks?!

Question:

Any "low-budget" themed cookbooks?

Since these already exist....
Vegetarian, cultural/ethnic, 30-minute recipes, desserts, etc.

Why wouldn't there be a "low-budget" cookbook? Each recipe doesn't cost much to make, and the price for each is listed.

Answers:
Sounds good to me - do it!

Personally, I've found "The Joy of Cooking" to be a good, thrifty cookbook.

You can tell if it's going to be inexpensive by looking at the ingredient list and they have a LOT of great, cheap things to make.

I think the problem with listing the price - unless you're doing it as an e-book and can update it frequently - is that the costs can vary so much state to state and will change as well.

Hi, I'm writing a low budget cook book right now.. I think that it doesn't cost a lot to cook, and in my cookbook I will be featuring non name brand ingredients which is much cheaper and a lot of fresh vegetables and herbs.

I agree with you frosting and can only hope that when D B comes up with the "low-budget" cook book we'll be notify.

P.S. D B please let us know when you finish the book.
