Because it isn't!!!!

I think the brand is well known and not necessarily the best. Usually make it at home here, all fresh vegies, from scratch.

Cooking up a heap this weekend - restock the freezer. We had a 24F start to the morning today:(

Because you're paying for the quality of the ingredients of course =D. And Heinz Meanz Beanz not soup :(

Heniz makes soup???

It's not....For me Baxters soup is number 1..................

quality,not quantity

simply because I feel it's a classic! Something just stay good because they've been out forever and they continue to make and do what they do best- as for providing a simply good basic quality product to it's loyal customers. Also based on rates of sale, advertisment, publicity etc and markets and communication !

it's not it's crap,make your own.

its the most popular but not the best try Baxters

Make your own French onion soup! Anna Hall makes the best one I have ever tasted.

I don't think it is, really. I go for Baxters. I grew up with Heinz, but these days, if I don't buy soup, I make my own. It's dead easy, and you can make almost any variety you like, using stuff you have left over. I only get a very short break at work so I use organic packet soup, put it in a mug, add boiling water, and there you are. It's really nice and filling. At home we concoct all kinds of soup then freeze them. Great comfort food!

It's not

i've never had heinz soup but most canned soup is salty crap.

Its not, neither are their beans or any other product they care to stick their high priced label on.

Ye takkin' a me, hinny?

Oh no its not!!!! Campbells is by far the better of the two but there is nothing better than home made soup...it has taste, texture and so satisfying. The moment you put a spoon of all that artificial tinned stuff you feel that you are putting tasteless muck in your mouth.

For me, it has been, since early childhood Cream of Tomato soup - comfort food while suffering from frequent tonsilitis. It evokes memories of freedom from stress at being bullied at school, the chance to have some quality time with Mum - sadly lacking these days - and a chance to read a good book without being disturbed by my little sister!

I usually make my own soups now, but occasionally when I need comfort I will open a can. However, the other day I was making a stew and was being distracted. I opened what I thought was a tin of tomatoes and poured it in the slo-cooker - and then realised it was cream of tomato soup. Not quite the desired effect, but still tasty though.

they say so on the TV , don't believe all what you hear

Do not think you can beat it. Tried other brands but always go back.
