Why am I still hungry?!


Question:

Why am I still hungry?

Today I've had pretzels, popcorn, a plain bean burrito, Pepsi, iron pills, and I'm sure I've had something else. I feel so hungry still!

You know what? I DO have sugar issues. I've been a hypOglycemic all my life. :) And...this day was rare for me. I just wanted to see what everyone said...to the big-faced chick asking about food.

Ignorant and absurd how all these people claim that you are fat without knowing you, huh.
I've always been one to believe in the body as a NATURAL thing, with NATURAL INSTINCTS... meaning your body knows what it needs and either you aren't getting enough of whatever it is or you are eating the wrong things.
Considering what you've listed, I would guess that it is the latter.

Because your eating junk food. Duh. Try some protien and REAL meat.

OMG! What a junk food! Hey realize what you are doing. Anyways, you are still hungry because all the sugar and fat you are eating those junk food just make you to consume more. Try to change your diet please!

I won't be rude like the others, my thought is that you have burned up the food quickly because it was mostly carbohydrates. If you would have consumed more protein it would have lasted you longer.

It sounds like you haven't eaten the proper amount of nutrients. Cook up a chicken breast or some other kind of meat and some frozen veggies and I beat you will not feel hungry. Lacking nutrients tells the hypothalamus (a part of your brain) that you need to eat.

You need a balanced diet is all...fiber helps curb hunger...apples or applesauce, whole grains etc, should help!

I also thought I had a tapeworm in my stomach too......

Hey I'm Fat I'm not hungry! And did you know, that you skinny pepole are still considered obese? Skinny people have fat surrounding all thier vital organs. I got my info from yahoo health.

Its because none of the stuff you ate had any real nutrtional value to it, and they were mainly the 'bad carbs' so your body doesnt feel as satisfied as it should. Try eating something like a sandwich with whole wheat bread, or oatmeal. Both will keep you full for a good amount of time. Hope I helped!

In all of the food you have listed I see no protien. That is the key to satisfaction. If I am starving, I can eat 2 slices of deli turkey and feel satisfied. You are eating empty unsatisfying calories. The popcorn is ok for a snack but you need some protien girl!! Adding some chicken breast to the burrito would have helped. I make my own burritos. I buy those Wrap Out Light wraps. I put fat free beans, 2% shredded cheddar cheese, 3 oz skinless chicken breast and some salsa. It is huge and awsome. I usually can't even finish it. also you need to eat breakfast. That should also contain some protien. Trust me, I love food and I am always hungry and protien is the key to feeling satisfied.

Also i noticed you didn't eat breakfast. In fact you really haven't had that much to eat unless the something else is a steak. If I don't eat breakfast I feel like all evening I'm just trying to catch up and keep craving something else to eat.
I suggest a real meal with meat and potatos and greens

Maybe you are eating to fast. try chewing slower and eating some protein

You might have an insulin issue due to all the carbohydrates you are consuming. You might want to control your insulin response by maintaining constant level of sugar in your diet. The reason you feel hungry is because once your body has digested all those sugar, sugar level plummet, thus making you feel hungry again. This means cut out some of those starchy foods and add proteins like nuts or lean meats. Protein will not impact your blood sugar like carbohydrates and you will feel satiated longer.

because you are eating junk food, junk food only satisfys your tastebuds, not your stomach so you need something heavy .
