Why when you wake up and drink water, it tastes like theres sugar in it?!

Question:

Why when you wake up and drink water, it tastes like theres sugar in it?

Answers:
When you wake up your mouth is full of saliva. Some in liquid form, some not. The saliva has sugar and electrolytes in it. When you drink water the dry saliva with sugar gets dissolved. This is why when you drink water it gives a sugary sensation.

If it was after you brushed your teeth it's because the toothpaste messed with your tastebuds.
If it was before you brushed, beats the hell out of me.
